We had a number of major victories this year, including securing the first-ever state funding to help the National September 11th Memorial & Museum present the annual Tribute in Light remembrance and passing a new law that conforms state labor law with a first-ever collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball and minor league ballplayers. The new law allows minor league players to be paid over the course of the year rather than just during the season and gives ballplayers access to team facilities year-round to help achieve their dreams of playing in the big leagues,
