Production Manager, Creative Operations

The Parkside Group, New York's leading full-service public affairs firm, is seeking a Production Manager, Creative Operations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an award-winning team and to advance candidates' and campaigns needs in our action-packed political campaign practice through the fall election. This position will report to the Creative Director.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, plan, and manage the workflow of multiple simultaneous projects across different lines of business.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, timelines, and solutions to senior leadership and internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Implement and oversee direct mail, print, print ads, digital ads, and website production for the extremely busy election cycle.
  • Develop and execute effective processes and systems for the following mission critical needs:
    • Meet 100% of all delivery schedules across all creative modes and platforms.
    • Oversee all internal and client edits to projects along the way to final delivery.
  • Manage production staff and ensure communication between C-suite, client leads, and designers is efficient and productive.
  • Manage all aspects of vendor relationships that involve the delivery of creative products and proofing/finalizing approvals for projects.
  • Assess project impacts and recommend alternative plans when timelines, milestones, or business needs shift.

Position Requirements

  • Required:
    • The position is a full-time temporary opportunity and is anticipated to last from March through the November election.
    • 6+ years of project management experience within a creative, marketing, or advertising agency.
    • Must have print experience.
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $5M.
    • We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who can rapidly execute a soup-to-nuts production process.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Adept in crisis management, problem-solving, and navigating changing priorities with composure.
    • Proficient understanding of Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets and Gmail.
    • Proficient understanding of Adobe Cloud 2024+ (InDesign).
  • Preferred:
    • Mac OS laptop.
    • Candidates that share our passion for Democratic politics is a plus!

  • Anticipated pay is $50,000 to $60,000.

The position will be expected to sign an NDA covering all confidential information provided by campaigns and The Parkside Group including polling data and opposition research.

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience. Parkside provides sick time in accordance with New York State law.
