
2016 is proving to be an exciting and busy time here at Parkside, and there has been a great deal of growth over the recent months. We are pleased to announce four new hires, and would like to congratulate our senior staff members on their promotions.

Joe Reubens has been named a Partner. A ten-year veteran of the Parkside Group, Reubens has served as the principal strategist for dozens of campaigns for federal, state and local office.
Paul Thomas has been promoted to Executive Vice President. A former Chief of Staff to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, and a top aide to then-Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, Thomas manages the government relations practice.
Safiya Raheem has been promoted to Vice President in the firm’s government relations practice and will oversee the firm’s budgetary advocacy efforts on behalf of a broad array of non-profit organizations.
Steve Wanczyk has been promoted to Executive Creative Director responsible for providing creative insights on design and development of projects and managing production.
Susana Silva has been promoted to Director of Client Scheduling managing the scheduling and logistics for the firm’s government relations practice.
New Faces -- Spencer Lee, a veteran of the State Senate's Democratic conference is our new vice president overseeing public affairs. Geoffrey Hutchinson, joins us an associate for government relations. Jorge Perez, an organizer for the Democratic State Committee, is an associate in the firm's political consulting division, and Thomas Winquist is a junior associate in Parkside's political consulting practice.
For over a decade before she joined The Parkside Group, @SaimaAnj worked with non-profit organizations.
She has used ...her past experience partnering with labor groups and projects to assist clients.
