Parkside is kicking off 2025 with exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce several new hires and a well-deserved promotion within our team.
We’re proud to share that Tess McRae, our Vice President of Communications, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. With her extensive experience as Director of Operations for the Senate Majority and a proven track record of managing successful campaigns, Tess is the perfect fit for this role.
We’re also excited to introduce four outstanding new hires who bring a wealth of expertise and talent to Parkside:
Alex Elmasri joins us as the new Vice President of Operations and Growth. Alex has over a decade of experience in campaign management, legislative relations, and strategic communications, and most recently led the New York State Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, helping grow it to a Super Majority for two consecutive cycles.
Alexia Holden joins Parkside as Vice President. She previously served as the Legislative Coordinator for the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), where she analyzed legislation, spearheaded statewide initiatives, and collaborated with stakeholders to address local and statewide issues.
Liz Robins joins us as Vice President. Liz brings a 360-degree perspective on policy and most recently served as Regulatory and Legislative Counsel at the New York State Department of Labor, leading legislative implementation and regulatory activity.
Grismely Tejada Taveras joins us as a Policy Associate. Previously, she worked as a Researcher at the New York State Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee, where she conducted research on candidates, analyzed policy histories, and canvassed during campaigns.
