Lauren Bush brings strong analytical, managerial, and leadership skills as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and member of the executive team.
Lauren manages all company operations, creating people-based systems to achieve Parkside’s goals, and collaborates with the founders to set the future vision for the company. She manages government relations for clients in downstate New York, including New York City and its neighboring counties. This includes directly representing a select portfolio of clients primarily in sports, workforce development, and retail sectors, and assists with strategy on local issues for many of the firm’s other clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was Lead of External Affairs for Success Academy Charter Schools and as Manager of Government Affairs for the New York Public Library. In those roles she worked to secure and manage millions in government funding, built relationships with key elected officials, and worked closely with a variety of city agencies.
Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Operating Officer of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, a SuperPac aligned with Senator Elizabeth Warren, and as Director of Political Parity, where she worked to increase the number of women running for and winning public office. She also served as a Policy Fellow for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and has been a leading advocate for federal food policy changes for nearly 15 years.
Lauren lives in Harlem with her husband, John-Morgan. You'll find them in the Riverbank Community Garden or tending her beloved orchids and bonsai.
