Tess McRae is Vice President at Parkside where she works with clients in the firm’s public affairs, public relations and political campaign practices. A veteran communications and campaign operative, Tess mobilizes grassroots movements and develops strategic messaging to help Parkside’s clients gain a competitive edge.

Tess joined Parkside after working in the New York Senate where she served on Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins' senior staff team as Director of Operations. Tess also held previous positions with Sen. Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign and the State Senate Democratic Conference and its members, including Deputy Director of External Relations and Communications Director for State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky.

Tess started her career as a reporter and editor for the Queens Chronicle and Queens Tribune. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from SUNY UAlbany and a Masters in Public Administration from the Marxe Executive MPA program at Baruch College.
